Police investigate death of Brunswick 18-year-old

Authorities are probing the death of a Brunswick man whose body was found late Monday off a dirt road in the Waynesville community.
Someone called Glynn County 911 about 4:30 p.m. Monday to report finding a body in the woods off South Post Road, the Brantley County Sheriff's Office said. The body was actually on the western side of the road, which forms the Glynn-Brantley county border, south of U.S. 82.
The body was identified as Untavious Gillard, 18, of Brunswick, said Mike McDaniel, special agent in charge of the GBI's Kingsland office.
McDaniel said he was uncertain if Gillard had a permanent address.
McDaniel declined to release the cause of Gillard's death except to say it was foul play and that he might have been dead several days.
