OK so my husband has got a thing with racing it seems.
We have a set of twins that are into MX racing and they go hog wild with this sport to the point of camping out in below freezing weather.(bless their souls) magazines out the yin yang, part ever where, racing gear spread out through the house and now there is a shed that my husband would sleep in if it had a bed... ;D
Well, I have learned to accept it and have met a really nice group of racing buddies we call our "racing family" that I wouldn't trade for the world...In all reality mom(me) thinks it's a great idea now. Yes, I look over alot...hehehe
Now, here i am thinking he is trying to find his youth through his kids...LOL RIGHT!
Listen to this. We are now proud owners of a race car....Yes, I said race car...You know one of those black things with the fluorescent color numbers on it. Like I can really tell these days what that number is that's going around that track ....
From my experience this is a different breed of people( not in a bad way) but these folks take this way more serious than a little MX bike...from what I have seen anyways...I have seen ladies, wives and children stomping on car hoods just trying to get a point over to the driver that just passed their love ones....LMAO no joke...
Me thinking that my husband is trying to"find his youth through his kids" just flew out the window, as he was speeding around our drive way like a raging lunatic! Yes in the race car....(Stay tuned for the video later)
I thought I was going to fall out laughing and thinking "this is how we do it Brantley style"....
Well thinking to myself how fun it looked I got the bright idea I wanted to try. I did. Done donuts in MY YARD! Guess what? It was a rush that I hadn't felt in a while I had control of that booger and now I can see why some many are into this sport...My 19 year old daughter even tried it out. She wants either to race that one or one of her own...I sh#t you not...
So to all you wives out there that think your husbands are "trying to find their youth through their kids" there is hope. They will find another way to live it.....
I would love to here more story. So let's hear yours.
