There are so many tips and I love couponing, it is game to me and I am winning!!
1st, I buy 2 to 4 papers a week. one/two of Brunswick News and Georgia Times Union on Sunday mornings. Cut out the coupons for items I use. Look at the sale papers for my stores and see what I can use coupons on.
It will take a little bit to get your coupons built up. But, I shop at stores that will double coupons, i.e Publix or Kroger. That was I turn a 50 cent coupon into a dollar. (They only double up to 50 Cents) Publix being the easiest since I know my way around the store.
**If an item is buy one get one free - use 2 coupons since you are buying two items.
**when an item I use regularly goes on sale and I have a coupons, I buy as many as I have coupons for and stock pile this item.
Example recently a coupon for $3 off Snuggle Fabric Softer, this items sells at Dollar General for $3 a bottle. I purchased SEVERAL papers and I am now the proud owner of 26 bottles of Snuggle Fabric Softer that I paid tax on and will use regularly.
I don't want to over whelm you right now.........if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

This is how I seperate and keep up with my coupons. I bought a notebook and plastic covers for "trading cards", coupons fit in there perfectly. I have a section for every section in the grocery store, meat, dairy, sauces, frozen food, cleaning supplies, Health and Beauty, Medicines etc. Each Sunday I cut out my coupons and place them in my book. When I go to the grocery store after looking at the ad's online and making my list, I just flip to where ever the coupon would be. I kept them in an envelope for a while and had to search for my coupons, this is much easier and I keep it in my truck so I always have it. Yes, I have taken this to a whole nother level LOL..........BUT with couponing, I never pay full price for shampoos, conditioners, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, laundry detergent, dish washing liquid, toilet paper, paper towels etc and these are all things we use and will keep for a long time. My kids always want to shop at "my store" when they come over, because they know I will be stocked up on these items.

There is a website you can see what the upcoming coupons will be. It is www.taylortownpreview.com You can see what is coming out on Sunday and look at the ads also. I will do that and post some deals that I see. I could always use a shopping buddy.

A lady came to our church last week to talk to us about "couponing" and she said in her opinion the best stores were walgreens and cvs. She said she loves Walgreens because they sometimes have store coupons - so when an item is on sale use your store coupon PLUS your manufacturers coupon and get a LOT better deal.....ALSO they offer reward bucks on some items. I'm just getting into the whole couponing idea but I love it. ;D

Yes, Walgreens and CVS are great. The idea with them is to buy items that give rewards (and both do) use a coupon plus their store coupons to get it even cheaper. Then take the rewards and purchase other things that give rewards too. You may spend money in the begining but using the rewards or Extra Bucks (CVS) is FREE MONEY.
I know that Publix will take their store coupon plus and Manufacturers coupons too and will douple coupons up to 50 cents, which is great savings.
